Overview
With Remote View, you can cast the deviceβs output to the ArborXR Web Portal over Wi-Fi. This functionality is crucial for guiding users through VR experiences, as well as providing remote support and troubleshooting.
This feature is supported on the following devices:
Meta Quest 2 (on OS version 68 and higher)
Meta Quest 3 (on OS version 68 and higher)
Meta Quest 3S (on OS version 68 and higher)
Meta Quest Pro (on OS version 68 and higher)
PICO 4 Ultra Enterprise
PICO 4 Enterprise
PICO G3
VIVE XR Elite
Lenovo VRX
VIVE Focus 3
DPVR
PICO Neo 3 Pro
PICO Neo 2
PICO G24K
Phones and tablets
VIVE Flow (on OS version 2.18 and higher)

Facilitator Role
Often, the individuals that configure devices' content and settings are not the same individuals that facilitate sessions. With this in mind, we offer the Facilitator role, so that certain users' access can be limited to only remotely casting and remotely launching content across certain groups of devices.

Cast Multiple Devices
Navigate to Groups in the side navigation menu.
Select the Group in question.
Select one or multiple devices.
Click Actions.
Click Cast Devices.
βOn certain devices, such as Meta Quest, PICO 4 Enterprise, VIVE Focus 3, and tablets, a system dialog may open prompting users for consent to record the screen. Users must select Start Now or Allow.

Meta consent dialog:β οΈ If users select Cancel or Don't Allow, the device must be rebooted and device casting via the ArborXR web portal must be re-initiated for this dialog to open once more.

This dialog can be disabled within group Settings. Learn more about disabling the consent dialog here.
π‘ Remotely launching content, be it an app, video, or WebXR link, is a feature that goes hand in hand with Remote View. To that end, we've conveniently included a Launch Content button directly in the cast view.

Click Cast Device.
